Blog: Diesel and Foscarini

Diesel have always been more than just a brand choice. Initially designers and manufacturers of fashion, the company expanded into decoration and luxury lighting with ease.

Inspiration

Driven by their ethos, the brand expended to incorporate all aspects of lifestyle. Because that’s exactly what their ethos is: a lifestyle, and an alternative. It’s a benchmark of quality at the cutting edge of technology. Long established and offering only the most contemporary products, everything the brand create is a fusion of heritage and ingenuity.

Collaboration

It was only natural then, that when the company turned their hand towards the world of luxury lighting design that they founded a partnership with Foscarini. Fusing aesthetics of rock and roll with industrial and cutting edge craftsmanship, the  collection currently includes over forty lamp models.

Construction

Lending themselves to the unconventional, these designs are made with carefully selected materials. Some of the materials had never before been used in the lighting industry. The designs are forged with personality in mind.

Impact

Last year saw the two companies renew the partnership that brought about so many designs. These Diesel Lighting products are characterized by a very assertive and explicit style. Instantly recognizable from their grounding in contemporary culture, some of these designs have already become authentic icons.

Continuation

New models are inspired by the ideas of the Diesel creative team. Foscarini then transform these ideas into perfectly functional lighting fixtures. The Diesel Living With Foscarini collection is further extended each year.
