Delicious vocals, roaring riffs, and rolling rhythms are just part of the rich tapestry that make up Germ. The band made their live debut in their friend’s garage (a.k.a ‘The Graj’ – read all about it here, and have been continuously drawing interest ever since. Reminiscent of early 90s grunge bands, or the heavier side of Britpop, Germ are crafting a sound that’s both comfortingly familiar and enticingly new. Their debut EP,Soak is – at only three tracks in length – perfectly addictive, providing just the right amount of insight into what the group is about before leaving you clamouring for more.
You can catch Germ opening the Brum Notes October issue launch gig at The Bulls Head, Moseley, this Thursday October 10.
